🚨 Bank Holiday Closure Notice – Monday 15th September 🚨

Our practice will be closed on Monday 15th September for the Bank Holiday. We will reopen as normal on Tuesday 16th September.

If you need urgent medical advice that cannot wait until we reopen, please contact:

🌐 If English is not your first language: Please tell the call handler the language you speak to be connected to a translation service.

⚠️ In life-threatening emergencies, always dial 999.

The NHS 24 call handler will ask a few questions to help refer you to the GP out-of-hours service or another care service if more appropriate.

🩺 Assessments can only be arranged by contacting NHS 24. There are no walk-in centres.

If referred to our service, you may:

• 📞 Receive a call back from a doctor or nurse practitioner
• 📋 Be given advice over the phone
• 🏥 Be allocated an appointment at one of five out-of-hours centres across Lothian
• 🏠 Be visited at home if you are frail or elderly

💊 Routine health matters, including repeat prescriptions excluded from the above. 

🏪 Your local pharmacy can help with many minor illnesses and prescribe some medications.
