Non-urgent advice: Ordering repeat prescriptions
You can re-order your prescriptions by:
- Using the online order form
- Posting the tear-off slip on your prescription in the blue box in the waiting room.
- If you enclose a stamped self addressed envelope we will post your prescription to you.
Please allow at least 4 working days between requesting and collecting your prescription (excluding weekends and bank holidays). Items that are not on your repeat list make take longer.
Non-urgent advice: Collecting your prescription
You can usually collect your prescription from the pharmacy 4 working days after you have ordered it.
You will need to choose a pharmacy to collect your prescription from. We call this nominating a pharmacy.
You can change your nominated pharmacy at any time by contacting us or completing the online form.
Urgent advice: Urgent requests
We DO NOT accept urgent requests for medication online or over the phone.
Please pick up a form from reception and hand it back to reception. Your request will be considered by a GP, and if necessary, they will generate a prescription for collection. If not it will be ready within 4 working days.
Non-urgent advice: Questions about your prescription
If you have questions about your medicine, your local pharmacists can answer these. They can also answer questions on medicines you can buy without a prescription.
The NHS website has information on how your medicine works, how and when to take it, possible side effects and answers to your common questions.
